Up & Running aims
to provide a comprehensive guide to the GMB and London
Region for all Branch officers and activists. This is
the first time that this information has been produced
in one guide, and is certainly unique in using a multi-media
approach.
It covers the
role of branches, officers and staff in the region as well as
giving information on regional and national structures and functions.
Whilst this guide uses various exercises such as multi choice
questions, it is not intended to be a training manual. Rather
it should be used as a reference book in conjunction with the
regional and national training courses.
Some Branches may decide
to use Up & Running as part of "in house"
induction training. However, wherever it is used, we hope
that Branches and representatives find it informative,
comprehensive and fun to use.
