HSE Publications

The HSE have announced that all priced publications that contain advice, guidance, regulations, or codes of practice will be available to download in PDF form free of charge. There are around 250 of these and the TUC and Hazards Centres have all been calling for free access to these HSE publications for many years. It was a key point in the recent TUC charter for safety representatives.

The first 11 will be available by 1st September this year and the remainder will be converted by March 2010. This will greatly help safety representatives’ work with employers to ensure compliance with the law and promote good practice.

These documents can be viewed on your computer or printed on your own printer. You will need to have a reader and one is available free from Adobe Acrobat site.
