Weekly accident benefit is paid by the GMB to members who are up to date with their subscriptions and have had an accident at the work and been signed off sick by their GP.

At the start of the third week of sickness a member can claim Accident Benefit of £9.25 per week. For a part time member, the Accident Benefit is £4.00 per week.

This benefit is payable for a maximum of 11 weeks.
