The
Chelmsford office services a geographical area covering the
whole of Essex and parts of East London, along with the membership
in parts of Cambridgeshire and Bedfordshire.
Much of the work carried out by the Organisers working at
Chelmsford is Public Services based.
At present, two GMB Organisers and one Senior Organiser work from the Chelmsford
office.
 Dave Powell is based at the Chelmsford Office. He is responsible for GMB membership in all Local Authorities in Essex County, Southend Unitary and all District Councils (except Thurrock) as well as Suffolk County Council, Forest Heath and Waveney District Councils.
Dave also covers all NHS in Essex, Norfolk, Suffolk and East London (including East of England and London Ambulance Services), and is the Regional Lead Officer for the NHS and for the Greater London Provincial Council.
Dave also services membership in many companies that have taken over work previously carried out by local authorities, e.g. Parkwood Leisure, SLM, Southend Care and Veolia SITA.
Gary Pearce has officer responsibilities that include British Airways, bmi, Skychef, Aviance, Swissport, Servisair and Airfield Services out of London Stansted and London Heathrow Airports.
Paul Campbell looks after GMB membership employed within manufacturing industries including Tate & Lyle, Case New Holland, Finn Forest, Johnsons Apparel Master, QinetiQ and various other companies throughout Central London and Eastern England.
 Cathy Holland has been working within Essex County Council as a GMB Convenor since 2006. Cathy has the responsibility for all Essex County Council Staff and Essex County Schools, and is coming up to her twentieth year working for Essex County Council within various different Departments.

Support Staff Sarah and Tracey, who will be happy to help with
queries or ensure problems are passed on to the appropriate
person if necessary.
