WORKPLACE MAPPING
A good organising and recruitment strategy is to "map the workplace" to show you who is, and who is not, in the GMB. This helps you identify potential recruits and service your existing members. It is also very helpful for planning recruitment activities. A workplace "map" helps you prepare a profile - member/non-member, work location, employment status, gender, age, hours, pay etc. Through preparing a plan to give you "at a glance" a clear picture of the GMB presence at your workplace.
