Paul Ward
has a background in the Private Security Industry and has also worked in the utilities division of a major UK security company.
Paul worked on the GMB Learning Project within several companies fro four years before joining the Organising Team. Paul’s current responsibilities include recruitment within schools and the care sector together with supporting and training new activists to be effective GMB Reps within their workplaces. |

| Arek Kusmierek is primarily involved with migrant workers in the Home Counties. He is a member of the GMB's Migrant Worker Network. |

| Darren Parmenter mainly focuses on recruitment and organising within Newham, Essex and Hertfordshire. Darren is involved with Public and Private sectors with Schools, the care sector and the retail industry. |

Colin is currently the Lead Organising Officer schools and is also involved in recruitment and organising within the care sector together with supporting and training new activists to be effective GMB Representatives within their workplaces. |

Mick
Vivian is responsible for Organising and Recruitment in Schools, Local Authorities, Asda, Wilkinsons, Southern Cross and other healthcare providers across the London Region. He is also a Co-Tutor for delivering the 2 day GMB@Work Course to New Workplace Organisers and regularly attends Local Activist meetings in the Chelmsford area to help support Workplace Consolidation initiatives which are constructed by the local activists

Shaun Graham, Senior Organiser, works within the Organising Team and is the London Region’s representative on the National Organising Team. He is responsible for Public Services membership in West London and is the Regional Lead Officer for Wilkinson’s, ASDA, and Southern Cross.
Shaun is also responsible for managing the Norwich & Hayes offices and for developing, managing and organising the recruitment strategies for both East Anglia and West London. |

| Tahir Bhattiworks mainly from the Hayes Office. He is part of the Organising Team and focuses on recruitment in the workplace, particularly targeting large food companies and the facilities service industry. His new project is to target companies in Park Royal, Wembley, Southall, Heathrow and Other West London areas, particularly with the Asian community as Tahir can speak Urdu, Punjabi, Hindi and Gujarati. |

Hiten Vaidya
is mainly responsible for recruitment, representation and organisation in Wembley and the surrounding areas, including the Park Royal industrial estate. He works from the GMB Sub Office in Wembley which is shared with the local GMB Branch and which offers a meeting place to local member forums. Hiten is involved in a number of other projects including English as a Foreign Language training, development and training for Workplace Stewards and forging links with outside agencies including the Brent Indian Association. He is also involved with setting up a GMB project in India, aimed at organising and educating the workforce within the ship breaking industry.

Hilda Tavolara works with the Organising Team in an administrative function, helping to co-ordinate diaries, programming visits and in general assisting with the co-ordination of the Development Team, plus collating a wide range of data to enable the GMB to extend upon its membership and knowledge.
