GMB - Britain’s General Union - In London

GMB Regional Secretary Ed Blissett, Chair Sandie Maile and National Shout! Chair Brian Shaw affiliating to organisations J-Flag and Broken Rainbow	The GMB Shout! is a group of lesbians, gay men, bisexuals and trans members of the GMB - Britain's General Union. We support LGBT GMB members who may experience problems at work surrounding their sexuality. We also aim to provide a safe forum where LGBT members can come together to talk about issues of concern to them, and to network with other LGBT members.
We also challenge negative attitudes towards LGBT people and lobby for, promote, progress and publicise LGBT rights in the workplace and in local, regional, national and international campaigns and matters. We have already had successes in advising members and shop stewards, in campaigning, recruitment and assisting a number of other LGBT organisations.
